Based on a true story, this is "Purple Heart for Effect" a 2D animated independent film about a Japanese-American citizen, nicknamed "Mas" who is deployed during WWII to prove his loyalty to a country that would sooner intern him simply for the color of his skin and his ethnic name Our story is set in the Vosges mountains in France, where we discover the fate of the 442nd infantry regiment – the most decorated unit in U.S. Military History.
I was the sole background designer and painter of this trailer and I really got to flesh out the look of this film!
